Morocco is on the bucket list of almost every traveler I’ve met. It’s even been on my bucket list since before I moved abroad.
So when the opportunity presented itself to go, I immediately knew this wasn’t something I could pass up.
Morocco is filled with gorgeous contrasts of color. It’s even capable of intense 18 hour snow storms. (Who knew?!)
I spent 10 days in this stunning country and definitely did not get enough.
Two obvious highlights were Marrakech and the Sahara Desert. Both were better than I could have imagined and I think it would have been easy to have 3 more nights in each place.
While some will think that a day trip to the desert is enough, let me tell you, it’s not. There was nothing more magical than watching the sun rise and fall over the sandy horizon and laying in that same sand staring up at the stars.
