32 Photos to Inspire a Trip to Taiwan

by Ari

When you think of traveling to Asia, I’m sure that countries like China and Japan are among the first to pop up. Even South Korea and Hong Kong tend to make the cut. But a little island in between China and the Philippines should be getting more attention. I’m talking about, of course, Taiwan.

Taiwan instantly won me over with its Chinese influenced buildings and yummy scrumptious food. Even though I was only spending 3 days there, I tried to see as much as possible.

But of course, three days in a new country is never enough and I’m already counting down the days until I get to go back.

Even after 5 years of living overseas, Taiwan might have been one of my favorite cities to photograph. There were new and interesting sights at the end of every street and on every corner. I could have spent all my time wandering the streets if I didn’t care so much about sightseeing.

All in all, I had almost 70 gigs of photos from a weekend trip. So when I say it was a great country to photograph, I’m really not lying. I was VERY trigger happy that weekend.

So without further ado, here are 32 of my favorite photos from Taiwan.
