For me, Myanmar was such a sweet surprise. After hearing so much hype about it, I didn’t want to set myself up for disappointment. From things I had read, the country has been changing and developing so fast, that I was afraid I was going to miss out on the authentic experience that is Myanmar today.
I had traveled to Yangon a few years ago and remembered how much fun the city was to photograph. I was excited to come back with more than just my GoPro and phone and see what Yangon and the rest of Myanmar had to offer.
We made stops in Yangon, Inle Lake, Bagan, and Mandalay. I really only regret that we didn’t have time to visit some of the famous beaches that Myanmar is so famous for.

Beautiful pictures Ari ! Even though I’ve been to many South-Asian cities, Yangon and Mandalay look so unique. Definitely want to visit Myanmar in the future.
